Hopf duals, algebraic groups, and Jordan pairs
The Hom functor is used to construct various algebras and
coalgebras, including the continuous dual of a Hopf algebra with a
residually finitely generated projective linear topology. The dual is
used to construct a k-group scheme. The results are applied to the study
of algebraic groups associated with Jordan pairs.
