Eater Ideals in Jordan Algebras

In this paper we study the relationship of several ideals of the free special Jordan algebra. In particular, we show that the ideal of hearty n-tad eaters coincides with that of imbedded n-tad eaters over an arbitrary ring of scalars. In the linear case, we show that they coincide with the ideal of n-tad eaters. The distance between the different eater submodules and their cores is also studied.
