If you fly from PTY (Tocumen International Airport), you can take a taxi to the Albrook transport terminal in Panama city. From this terminal, it is very easy to arrive by taking any bus that travels inside the country and passes through Penonomé, Cocle province by the Interamerican Highway. It is also easy to access to our Regional University Center, because it is located on the banks of the Interamerican Highway close to the town known as Llano Marin. Check location here .
If instead you come by
bus from Center America i.e. (Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador,
Guatemala, etc) to Panama, you will be able to arrive to
our Regional University
Center. In order to do this, the Centroamerican Consorce of transport
known as TICABUS
as well as PanalineInc S.A. and
expreso Panamá (the latter two if you come from
Costa Rica), have a compulsory stop in Penonomé - Coclé,
in the Aquilino Tejeira Hospital. In this stop you can access to Centro Regional Universitario
de Coclé using local buses which have an internal route
that goes to the University of Panama at Coclé or in any taxy
at a very affordable price.(The U.S.dollar is used).
A collective bus that belongs to the Centro Regional Universitario de Coclé will be on Sunday, Octuber 18th in the airport (PTY) to pick up all participants who wish to take it (if they arrive before 3:00 p.m.) Just at this time, the bus will leave with destiny the hotel in Penonomé. If you wish the bus to wait for you, please send a mail to some of the organizers.
